707 2017 "Flag Pole" Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel

A sultry Zin grown right in our front yard.

The 707 Flag Pole Estate Zinfandel is a wonderful expression of the highly sought-after Dry Creek Valley fruit. This is an exceptional field of Zinfandel that is literally in our front yard. Growing in the shadow of the company flag poles, these Zinfandel grapes make our Estate wines shine. The Dry Creek Valley views from this vineyard are jaw-dropping and stunning. Of course, it also makes a spectacular Zinfandel. Take yourself and a glass out for a stroll, you won’t be disappointed at any time of the year.

Tasting Notes:
The sultry aromas sing with plum, blackberries, eucalyptus and a hint of mocha. The silky flavors are big and bold, with fruit-sweet juicy boysenberry, licorice with black pepper and spice. The chewy tannins are well-balanced and linger pleasantly on the palate.

Food Pairings:
The 707 Flag Pole Zinfandel is the fan of the outdoor grill. We like using it in the marinade, while pairing it with peppered flat-iron steaks, beef short ribs or a juicy, garlic lamb burger.
